Although the computer forecast shows thermal activity based between 3000 - 4000ft agl, the inflow of air with high mid level humidity appears to make the mid/upper level broken layered clouds to persist . This in combination with the strong winds in the convection layer will dampen the thermal activity and make them difficult to unworkable.
